Duck River Conservancy

Speaker's Bureau

Bring the Duck River to Your Community

Duck River Conservancy’s Speaker’s Bureau offers engaging, educational presentations designed to connect our community with one of Middle Tennessee’s most valuable natural resources—the Duck River. Our knowledgeable speakers are available for schools, civic organizations, businesses, and community events, providing meaningful insight into the river’s importance, its incredible biodiversity, and the role it plays in providing clean water for our region. Each presentation is tailored to the audience, making complex environmental topics easy to understand, relatable, and impactful.

Through our Speaker’s Bureau, we aim to inspire stewardship and encourage practical action. Topics may include water conservation, local wildlife and ecosystems, agricultural impacts, and simple ways individuals and communities can help protect the Duck River. Whether you’re looking to educate students, engage your organization, or add value to an event, our speakers bring both expertise and passion to every presentation.

Presentations are available in a variety of formats, including in-person and virtual options, and typically range from 30 to 60 minutes with time for questions and discussion. Our goal is not just to inform, but to create a lasting connection between people and the river we all depend on.

To request a speaker for your upcoming event, please complete the form below or contact Duck River Conservancy directly. We look forward to partnering with you to share the story of the Duck River and inspire the next generation of conservation leaders.
